
ABOUT ME
Paolo Fabre Merchan, M.Sc. is an EFL instructor and educational researcher from Guayaquil, Ecuador. He serves as an English professor in the English as a foreign language Department, Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas y Comerciales at Universidad Estatal de Milagro. He graduated from kansas State University, where he obtained his master degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on English as a Second Language (ESL). He has obtained two scholarships, which were sponsored by the Ecuadorian government. He has teaching experience in all levels of education (elementary, middle, high school, & college) and national and international studies on ESL/EFL education. His research focuses on innovating EFL education (methodologies, programs & strategies) and language and literacy development. He has authored an article for publication in Didasc@olia: Didactica y Education, scientific journal, in Las Tunas, Cuba and a textbook in Editorial de la Universidad Tecnica de Machala.
